MALG Virtual National Members Meeting September 2024

Invitations with the full agenda for our upcoming Virtual National Members Meeting will be issued shortly. In the meantime, please save the date and don’t forget to register when the email comes through if you intend to join as only registered attendees will receive joining instructions.

It will include a session exploring the challenges and opportunities of different signposting strategies with Cat Divers of National Support Network and Dr Neda Mahmoodi of UK Debt Service. In addition we have secured speakers from Lowell and the FCA Consumer Duty Team for what promises to be a very engaging session.

Economic Abuse Evidence Form

25 banks and building societies (including Lloyds Bank, NatWest, Santander UK and Monzo) have committed to accepting the new Economic Abuse Evidence Form. This is a fantastic collaboration between two of our Members, which was no doubt inspired by the Debt & Mental Health Evidence Form launched by MALG back in 2008!

Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) Conference 2024

MALG CEO Bob Winnington will be sitting on a panel entitled ‘Pre Legal: Avoiding or Preparing for Court Action’ at the upcoming Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) Conference on 15 October, also at Aspire Leeds. Find out more.
