Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) is pleased to announce that PRA Group will continue as Sponsor of its popular Members Friday Forum throughout 2027, ensuring the well-established fortnightly sessions remain free and accessible for Members across the credit, collections, debt advice and financial wellbeing sectors.
The Members Friday Forum has become a valued part of MALG’s Member offering since it was launched in response to the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, providing a regular space for open discussion, knowledge sharing and collaboration on emerging issues affecting consumers and the organisations that support them.
Held every two weeks, the sessions bring together professionals from across the whole debt ecosystem in the UK to exchange insights, explore challenges and identify opportunities to improve outcomes for people in financial hardship.
The continuation of PRA Group’s Sponsorship will enable MALG to maintain the Forums’ regular schedule throughout 2027, supporting meaningful conversations on key topics including vulnerability, financial inclusion, consumer support, regulation and best practice.
Peg Alexander, CEO of MALG, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to PRA Group for continuing its support of the MALG Members Friday Forum in 2027. These sessions have become an important fixture in the calendars of many of our Members, creating a trusted space for open, honest and constructive conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.
“At a time when collaboration has never been more important, PRA Group’s Sponsorship enables us to continue bringing together organisations from across the credit, collections and money advice landscape to learn from one another and ultimately improve outcomes for customers.”
Tim Kirk, PRA Group UK Country Operations Director, said:
“We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of MALG for the seventh consecutive year. By working together across our industry, we can improve the experience and support available to people facing financial difficulty. MALG plays an important role in bringing us together for those conversations, and we’re pleased to support that work.”
The Members Friday Forum is exclusive to MALG Members and takes place on a fortnightly basis, offering a welcoming environment where participants can discuss developments across the sector, hear different perspectives and contribute to conversations with no agenda.
