Introducing the MALG Podcast!

In case you missed it in and amongst all the Conference buzz, we have launched a new MALG Podcast to advance our role as a facilitator of conversations about improving the lives of people in debt.

The Podcast will give our Members and wider stakeholders from across the debt landscape a new way to access insightful content to supplement our Meetings and Events.

MALG Conference 2024 Feedback

We are still reeling from last week’s MALG Conference at Aspire Leeds and have been blown away by all the positive feedback on LinkedIn, X and email. If you haven’t already done so, please complete the brief evaluation survey – your feedback is invaluable to the development of next year’s event (which we are already planning!)

MALG Regional Meetings

If you are a National Member, you have access to all the Regional Groups chosen on your original Membership Application form and should receive invites with a password-protected link to the online booking form for all relevant Meetings. If you do not receive the email invitations, please contact info@malg.org.uk.

Details of all upcoming Regional Meetings can be found here, including:

  • MALG South East Meeting at Debt Free Advice’s Toynbee Hall on 20 November (theme: ‘Unlocking Engagement’)
  • MALG Scotland Meeting at PRA Group’s offices in Kilmarnock on 21 November
  • MALG Midlands Virtual Meeting on 27 November
  • MALG North West Virtual Meeting on 4 December (theme: ‘Council Tax Collection’)
  • MALG North East & Yorkshire Meeting at StepChange’s HQ in Leeds on 12 December, which will focus on households struggling with their finances and be followed by festive drinks.

MALG Friday Forum

Whether you’re a regular, have attended before, a National or Regional Member who’s yet to take advantage of this hugely popular member benefit, we would be delighted to welcome you on screen for an hour of informal, open – and usually lively! – discussions and debates on the latest issues facing those across the debt landscape. These discussions often result in tangible solutions and collaborative opportunities so don’t miss out.

There are only a couple more sessions left this year including this Friday 29 November– and of course our compulsory Christmas Jumper special on 13 December! Find out more about the MALG Friday Forum here.
