Fairness in government debt management: Cabinet Office call for evidence

The Cabinet Office has published ‘Fairness in Debt Management: a call for evidence’.

It is calling for evidence on:

• Where and how central and local government organisation debt management practices can be improved.
• How central and local government organisations can most effectively manage debts stemming from fraudulent activity.

It closes on 21 September 2020 and written evidence should be submitted where possible using the online tool. To help achieve the widest range of contributions, the Cabinet Office is considering running virtual stakeholder workshops in July and August, please comment below if you would be interested in this.
