We had a fantastic turn out at our first National Members Meeting of 2020 on 6 February at Capital One’s offices in London – thankfully it was before the storms hit so there were no travel problems!

Those who attended, including new members, guests, and familiar faces, joined in interactive discussions about adviser wellbeing, the notes from which have been written up and are now being actioned by the Money & Pensions Service. Delegates also enjoyed thought-provoking presentations about economic abuse and what it means to be a vulnerable customer.

We’re very pleased to share the presentation slides and papers from the meeting with you all, (including guests who we hope will consider National Membership of MALG which provides free access to our excellent National Meetings on a quarterly basis!) and those that couldn’t make it. You can find them here.

Our next National Members Meeting is on 30 April and we’re already planning an equally engaging programme of speakers and topics, the details of which will be revealed nearer the time. In the meantime, read on to find out about booking your ‘early bird’ delegate place at our 2020 conference and upcoming regional meetings.

MALG Conference 2020 – book your ‘early bird’ delegate place now!

For the first time this year, we are offering discounted ‘early bird’ rates for conference delegate places and exhibition stands booked before 1 May 2020. We have already had a lot of interest in our ‘early bird’ exhibition stands which offer savings of up to £500 and are now pleased to open ‘early bird’ delegate bookings!

To keep things simple, there are just two ticket types – Standard (for private companies and other commercial delegates) at £295 (a saving of £80 on the full price of £375) and not-for-profit at £95 (a saving of £30 on the full price of £125) – and booking is via a short online form which asks for details for invoicing. Please note that ‘early bird’ delegate fees must be paid by 1 May 2020 to guarantee eligibility for discounted rates.
