Money and Mental Health Policy Institute has published a new report: ‘The state we’re in: money and mental health in a time of crisis’. It offers a ‘state-of-the-nation’ snapshot of the financial and mental wellbeing of people across the UK during the pandemic.

For the report, they commissioned the largest ever nationally representative survey on these twinned issues, involving 5,001 people with lived experience of a mental health problem and 1,000 people without mental health problems.

The results show that on a wide range of financial indicators, people with mental health problems have fared worse during the pandemic than the wider population.
