Talk Money Week (previously Financial Capability Week) is the annual celebration of the work thousands of organisations are doing to improve money management across the UK. Throughout the week, organisations will encourage their customers to ‘talk money’, showcase their services and lead the charge to make their work more effective, by turning evidence of what works into action at scale. It is an annual event which takes place in mid-November organised as part of the Financial Capability Strategy for the UK and aims to get more people talking about money.
As part of Talk Money Week, Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) is teaming up with the Money Advice Service to jointly present the Talk Money Conference 2018 on 14 November at Central Hall Westminster. This free-to-attend financial capability and debt conference is open to the whole of the money advice, financial capability, credit, collections, other relevant sectors and stakeholders.
There will also be hundreds of other events happening across the UK during Talk Money Week 12-18 November 2018 – a participation pack can be found on the website. Read the latest blog from Charles Counsell, CEO of the Money Advice Service, as he introduces Talk Money Week and highlights why you should take part, which includes a comment from MALG’s Chair Liz Barclay on why we’re joining forces for the Talk Money Conference.
Online booking for the Talk Money Conference is now open and commercial sponsorship and exhibition opportunities as part of the dedicated MALG debt advice streams of the conference are now available. Find out more.
