The Annual Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) Member Engagement Survey was introduced in 2023 to help us help you get the most out of MALG Membership.
While our aim is ‘working together to improve the lives of people in debt’, we also play an important role in supporting and therefore looking to improve the lives of those working in the debt sector. By listening to what our Members want and need, we aim to do even more drive collaboration and improve wellbeing and consumer outcomes.
If you work in any capacity across the debt landscape, we want to hear from you. Whether you are an existing/former/prospective MALG Member, or an associate/stakeholder, your feedback is invaluable to us and is used to help to shape our future strategy. The online survey is mostly made up of multiple choice questions and takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Survey Feedback 2023-2025
- Overall, Members are extremely satisfied with MALG, rate its services as high quality, and find the team responsive. MALG meets organisational and personal objectives and Members are likely to renew and recommend membership it to colleagues and contacts.
- The MALG Members Friday Forum is an invaluable resource – so we will of course be continuing it and looking to make it even better.
- You’d like to see more creditor-based content – which we will take on board for future agendas. Don’t forget you can suggest/request speakers and topics for National Members Meetings here and Regional Members Meetings here.
- There is appetite for new initiatives from MALG to become more of a thought leader including a MALG podcast – which was launched in November 2024!
- Most people find out about MALG through word of mouth and online recommendation – so please keep sharing and talking about us amongst your networks to help us widen our reach even further for the benefit of everyone!
- You’d like us to be more of a thought leader – so, while we have to remain impartial, we have started getting involved in and supporting key initiatives and research projects.
