MALG Northern Ireland was formed in February 2006 to bring together creditors, debt collection companies and advisers from across the country. Its aims and objectives mirror those of MALG itself.
The group meets at least four times a year to discuss issues such as debt and mental health. It is chaired by Carmel Morris of the Irish League of Credit Unions and Sinead Campbell of Advice NI.

MALG Northern Ireland differs from the other UK regional groups in that it does not currently offer membership in the same way.
