The MALG National Members Meeting on 5th July 2018 featured an excellent presentation from Sian Williams of Toynbee Hall on high cost credit in which she highlighted the fact that “irresponsibility is not the main driver of credit debt.” Some interesting group discussions and debates also took place. MALG National Members Meeting 5 July 2017

The MALG National Members Meeting on 5 July 2017 was attended by the most diverse mix of stakeholders yet and featured a talk from Yvonne Fovargue MP on her work on the All Party Parliamentary Group on Debt and the launch of the Money Advice Service’s toolkit for creditors on working with debt advice agencies. Jane Tully of Money Advice Trust and Katie Evans of Money & Mental Health Policy Institute followed their engaging presentations with interactive group discussions, the outputs of which will be used in their policy work.
