“New systems – but will it be all systems go?”
Money Advice Scotland and the IRRV in Scotland are delighted to announce this major one-day Conference taking place in Glasgow on Friday 3rd November 2017.
This Conference is the joint event of the year for Money Advice Scotland and IRRV Scotland, bringing together practitioners, managers, policy makers from the field of revenues, money advice, credit and debt collection.
This year’s conference will focus on the key issues facing money advice, benefits provision and welfare rights at a time of significant change and challenge. Regulation means change and a new way of thinking, which brings its own challenges. The Conference will also look at good practice, and we how we can learn from each other.
This conference is “a must” as it will focus on the outcome of the consultation on the Standard Financial Statement, minimum income standards, a regulatory update, the review of advice services in Scotland, an update on the devolution of social security, corporate debt recovery and a welfare reform and Universal Credit rollout update.
Our conference speakers are all experts in their field and drawn from government, voluntary, private, and statutory sectors. We are certain there will be plenty food for thought. Don’t miss out – be there!
The programme includes :
and update on the regulatory landscape in Scotland – Richard Dennis, Accountant in Bankruptcy – keynote speaker
